On 31 March 2015 the national smart specialisations Steering Committee accepted the descriptions of 19 national smart specialisations, worked out by the NSS Working Groups, composed of the representatives of business and scientific circles.
Detailed descriptions form a binding instruction in the scope of conformity of projects financed from the funds of the new financial perspective 2014-2020 with the national smart specialisations.
The national smart specialisations are the areas of R+D+I, identified in the process of entrepreneurial discovery, whose development will contribute to improvement of innovativeness of the Polish economy.
